Good Afternoon.

Lets go back to yesterday okay..

29th January 2005 :

Despite me being terribly sick,feverish and feeling nauseous, I somehow managed to drag myself all the way to Tampines Mall to collect the photos of me and Ain and then to Spotlight to buy the small wooden drawer cum photo frame. Then, I took my time to wrap it with silvery golden ribbons. I gave her a stack of photos of us and a svaroski(i duno how to spell uhh) necklace and matching earrings and three scrunchies. I purposely gave her the scrunchies so that she wont have to use any of mine anymore. Hrhr. And lastly, a self-made scroll which.. when I read it out to her with my raspy-barely-there voice, made her cry. She was so touched. And said it was really sweet of me. Hehe, I know gurlie..I love you too.

So then, after that..we went to the NTUC to buy ten bottle of 7-up and 6 bottles of orange and rose syrup. Yes, you can imagine how difficult and challenging for us to carry all of that to the pit. We were both struggling. Especially ME! Body aching and pounding headache and feverish all over. Gosh. The things I do for her.

Thenn..we had to wait at the pit for like..HOURS for her family to come over with the food and everything else. I was just soooooo shagged, I used all the plastic bags as mats and lie down to rest my aching body.

And finally..they came over. One by one people came. And her birthday pit started. I had to do the drinks over and over and over again. The little kids kept calling my name and asking me to play with them which I obviously couldnt reject coz I love kiddos way to much to say no. There were just way too many people and I had to help Ain to layan those who werent really comfortable with others. I feel bad for not really being with the Ngee Ann-ians and the GengMilahs. However, it was realllly nice to see them again! Ains work mates are really crazy. Its nice to see so much enthusiasm going on. They sang the happy birthday song in a really catchy tune with the drums. The cake was big but too small for everybody. I didnt eat it coz of my sore throat. I did the cutting which I think I suck at. LOL.

I was the last of the friends to leave. Of course uhh..bestfriend must help around and make sure everything goes to Ains liking.

I am pretty sure Ain had a blast. And I am so happy for her.

Anyway.. its a hot humid day. And I lost my voice, mainly because of only two days of work.. which I plan to quit.
