Friday, May 30, 2008 Good Evening!The working world is cruel. I called the lab for a pneumatic lab container politely with respect for the other party on the phone. In return, I received an extremely sarcastic, harsh and rude response. How in the world are we supposed to know that the pneumatic tube is on free run and not working? I was shock at the lady's response! Completely. Utterly, shock. The hospital is a horrible place to be working in. I dont know how some nurses do it, but Im telling you.. it takes a whole load of managing mechanism. From the workload to the stress level. Some days I feel really paranoid and crazy, living in the fear of missing things out or overlooking or making a mistake or not serving a medication or putting the drip at the wrong rate or not taking a hypocount or even little things like medication being expired or equipments or documenting wrongly. Ok i just deleted a whole load of bad case scenarios of what if's. Cos Fear is an Illusion. And the law of attraction believes that what I feel,think is what I will receive. So I must not live in fear for fear will then come and hunt me. I should face it and erase it from my mind. I have to be brave. This is another battle Im in. Till then, the weekends are here and Im going to forget work ever happened. HAHA! -
